Get Lauren Conrad's Hair

One thing I want to start on this fashion blog, is how to get celebrity's hair styles. I'll search the web at different websites and post what I find. But don't worry, everyone will get credit where credit is due =)

The first celebrity is going to be Lauren Conrad, who is always doing cute things with her hair.

The first site I came across is College Fashion, who did an article last year, after someone sent in a question about ways she could do her hair like Lauren.

The first Lauren Conrad hairstyle is the "Twisted Pullback."

Tools Needed:
Bobby Pins
Curling Iron
Hairspray

Step 1: Part hair down center and separate into sections

Step 2: Grab hair, in one inch sections, hairspray, and curl using a large barrel curling iron

Step 3: Using one-inch sections from both sides of your face, loosely twist and pull them to the back of your head

Step 4: Secure with two bobby pins in the shape of an 'X' and spray with hairspray

The next hairstyle is the "Straight Chic Ponytail"

Tools Needed:
Flat Iron
Brush
Hair Elastic
Hairspray

Step 1: Part hair to the side or if your going to also wear a headband, a part is not nessesary

Step 2: Flat iron your hair to get a sleek straight look

Step 3: Tilt your head back and brush hair into a ponytale

Step 4: Secure with a hair elastic slightly above the nape of your neck

Step 5: Spray with hairspray to secure

*If you have bangs, just pull them out of the ponytale and arrange them the way you want. Or if you want to wear a headband just slip it on*

Hairstyle #3: "Pin-Straight and Shiny"

Tools Needed:
Blow Dryer
Flat Iron
Hairspray or
Shine Spray

Step 1: Blow dry hair straight, even if you have semi-straigt hair, with the blow dryer aimed down for extra smoothness

Step 2: Flar Iron hair until it is pin-straight

Step 3: Finish of with hairspray if you hair is naturally wavy and turns to frizz within a few hours if not, finish off with shine spray

*A headband can also be used to top off this hairstyle*

And the last hairstyle on the College Fashion website is "Wavy with Side Bangs"

Tools Needed:
Blow Dryer (if your hair is naturaly curly)
Large Barrel Curling Iron
Hairspray
Step 1: If you have naturally curly hair, blow dry hair straight, if not let air dry

Step 2: Part hair slightly to the side and starting with the bottom layers, hairspray 1 to 2 inch sections, then curl. Stop winding hair when you get to a few inches from the root

Step 3: Section out your bangs and and use the curling iron to flip the bangs away from your face and use some hairspray to hold or slip on a stetchy headband on and arrange your bangs so they tuck behind your ears then spray to secure.

The next Lauren Conrad hairstyle comes from Instyle.

"Messy Bun with Little Braids"

Tools:
Curling Iron
Bobby Pins
Hairspray

Step 1: Curl entire head with one-inch barrel curing iron

Step 2: Pull the back into a messy bun while leaving out some side pieces
Step 3: Use bobby pins to randomly pin parts of the bun to create a loose, messy texture

Step 4: Braid some random side pieces, that were left out, and bobby pin them into the bun

Step 5: Secure with hairspray

The last hairstyle is the famous "Lauren Conrad Braid" and I found it at Styles That Work for You.

Tools:
Hairspray
Bobby Pins

Step 1: Start with a cornrow braid or a crowned braid beginning at one side of your head and ending at the other or pin with a bobby pin at the back of your head

Step 2: Style the rest of your hair any way you want, whether its in a ponytale, or left down.

Step 3:
Secure with hairspray
