I like the shoes that Fergie wore to the Teen Choice awards, but the dress is not my favorite. Although together, they go well with each other.
Brenda Song always looks beautiful, but this is not my favorite ensemble of hers. The dress looks alright, but I'm not to fond of the shoes.
I like the look that Emma Roberts had at the Teen Choice Awards. I don't really like the booties look, but with this dress it looks really cute.
I love the outfit that Leighton Meister wore and I love the red shoes that she wore with it. Great color choice to wear with the black and white.
The dress that Megan Fox wore to the Teen Choice awards is probably one of my favorites. It's simple and pretty. And I love the shoes that she wore with it.
I don't really much care for on sleeved ensembles, but Selena Gomez looks nice in this one. She always looks so classy on the red carpet.
I'm not really feeling this outfit, either, that Vanessa Hudgens chose for the Teen Choice Awards. But even so, she still looks good in it.
This dress that Emily Osment chose for the TCAs looks elegant and classy on her and I think the shoes go great with it.
Not so much feeling the dress Ashley Greene wore, but it fits her well and the shoes and hand bad go fabulous with it.
I love seeing Amanda Bynes at the Teen Choice Awards. The simple tube dress she chose is simple and pretty. And I love the hot pink polish she is wearing with it.
The outfit that Alexis Bledel chose is probably my least favorite of the night. It looks like the dress is a little too big, and I don't realy like the shoes with this dress at all.
A.J. Michalka also looked elegant and classy at the TCAs, but again, I'm not too fond of the one sleeved dress look. And I think she should have chose black shoes to go with the dress, instead of nude.

Four Bandslam Beauties
I love this dress that Vanessa Hudgens chose for the premier of her new movie, Bandslam. I think the dress looks great on her and the black accessories look great with the outfit.
The other star of Bandslam, Aly Michalka, also rocked the red carpet at the premiere of the new movie. I'm not really feeling the dress, itself, but I even so, it still looks great on Aly.
I really like the maxi dress that Tiffany Thorton wore to the premier of Bandslam. She looks beautiful in it and I love the updo that she chose to wear with it.
Another dress I loved at the Bandslam premiere was worn by Chelsea Straubb. Its a really pretty dress and she looks gorgeous, as always, in it. And I love the necklace and the shoes she chose to wear with it.
What do you think of these four beauties at the Bandslam premiere?

Who Wore It Best? Miley or Hilary
It's time for another instalment of Who Wore It Best, featuring Miley Cyrus and Hilary Duff. Who wore this black and gold shimmer tube dress best? Was it Miley or Hilary? I think the dress is gorgeous and I think it looks great on both girls. However, I think it looks a little better on Miley's darker skin.

Cute Ways to Wear...Braids
Braids can be worn all sorts of ways. You can do a simple french braid, or a simple side braid, or a french side braid.
Lauren Conrad is always using braids in here hair, some like the ones above, or like this, where it starts on one side and ends on the other.
Or this style, which I love, and am excited to try, where she has tiny braids in random spots.
For other ways to wear breads, Zimbio, has a few.
Braids can be incorporated into an updo, with them in the front as seen here on Anne, Nicole, and Jessica. A french braid is also an option, here. Another option is, instead of an updo, just go with a ponytail.

One braid style that I found on Celeb Salon, was a really cute style from Kate Hudson.
I hope you have some new hair ideas, and will try some out because I know that I will :)

A White Dress on Pale Skin...at the Julie & Julia Premiere
I'm not really feeling Amy Adams' ensemble at the Julie & Julia premiere last Monday. I don't know what it is but I really don't think white looks all that great against very pale skin. And her nude heels kind of just blend in. I'm also not really feeling her hair. I'm just not feeling the whole ensemble.
What are your thoughts?
Another women in white at the Julie & Julia premier is Ashley Greene. Although she s also wearing white and has very light skin, I like this ensemble better. Maybe its the fact that Ashley is wearing darker heels, has darker hair, and is wearing dark red lipstick.
When wearing a white dress with pale, white skin, it needs to be worn "right." I think Ashley wears her ensemble better than Amy.

DIY Courtesy of Maegan
For my first DIY post, I want to tell you about Maegan from ...Love Maegan. She is always posting cute DIY things, and this week she posted a DIY jersey tank vest.
All you really need for this DIY is an old tee shirt and ribbon.
I actually have not done this DIY yet, but I plan to do it as soon as I find an old tee shirt that I want to cut up.
I love Maegan's DIY and I suggest you all check out her blog.

Cute Ways to Wear...Scarves
There are so many ways to wear scarves. You can wear it as a headband, a belt, tied to your accessories, or even around your neck as, well, a scarf.
The first one is called "the fold and loop." The idea is to fold the scarf in half and wrap it around your neck. Then take the side with the ends and pull it through the loop created by the other side. In the end it will look like this.
The second one is called "the basic neck wrap." Just wrap the scarf around your neck and let the ends drop where they may, like this.
The third and final one is called the "the square tie." This one is used with a square scarf. Just take one pointed end and put it in front and tie the ends around your neck.
So to start off, I found three ways to tie a scarf around your neck, from Omiru.

Go over to Omiru for more on how these simple ways to wear scarves.
I found a few ways to wear scarves in your hair from CelebrityStyleBlog.
This first one is based off the way Kate Hudson wore her headband in Fool's Gold. All you have to do is start with the middle of the scarf, on the back of your head, under your hair. Then you simply cross the scarf in the front and then tie it back underneath again.
The next one has been seen frequently on Paris Hilton or Nicole Richie. Just take a square scarf and fold it down the middle to make a triangle, lay the center of the triangle with the point in the back, and then tie in a knot.
You can also wear a longer scarf, tied around the back, like this...
Or wear a shorter scarf, tied around the back, like this...
Or tie a scarf around the back, like this, which is also popular with Nicole Richie...

Get Mischa Barton's Hair
I didn't really know who to feature next, for my celebrity hair how-to. But I was searching Instyle and the first one that came up was Mischa Barton, so she will be the next featured celebrity.
So the first style will come from Instyle. It is the "full, curly side style."
Tools:
Blow Dryer
Texturizer
Round Brush
Large Curling Iron
Bobby Pins
Hairspray
Step 1: Before blow drying, add a texturizer to wet hair, and then blow dry.
Step 2: Use the round brush, create a lift at the root.
Step 3: Curl small sections around the entire head, with the large curling iron, starting at the middle of hair shaft, instead of the bottom. Also try using different size curling irons.
Step 4: Tease hair at the crown and then pull hair to the side, secure with bobby pins, and spray to secure.
The next one comes from Bella Sugar, and its Mischa's "O.C. soft waves."
Tools:
Brush
Volumizing Mousse
Blow Dryer
Bobby Pins/Hair Clips
Large Curling Iron
Hairspray
Step 1: After washing your hair, towel dry hair, brush, set your part, and work in a palm size of volumizing mousse from roots to ends.
Step 2: Blow dry hair straight and then section hair into about eight even parts and secure them with bobby pins or hair clips
Step 3: Use a large curling iron, on medium to low heat, starting with the undermost layers, but instead of opening the curling iron wrap hair around the barrel and let sit for about seven sections.
Step 4: Instead of brushing your hair out, flip head over and shake out your hair then flip back, and gently finger the curls to relax them into waves.
Step 5: Reset your part and then spray to secure. If you have bangs just brush them lightly to one side and spray that area a little more heavily.
This next style, which is very simple, comes from Sugarscape, and its her "boho twists."
Tools:
Bobby Pins
Hairspray
Step 1: Pull hair into two twists
Step 2: Secure with bobby pins the same color as your hair
Step 3: Spray with hairspray
This last Mischa Barton hairstyle is from 247 Girl, and its the "low, loose bun."
Tools:
Hair Elastic
Bobby Pin
Step 1: Part hair.
Step 2: Using your fingers, scoop up hair into a low ponytail that sits at ear level, and fasten with a hair elastic.
Step 3: Wrap and twist hair around the hair elastic to form a loose bun and secure with a bobby pin.
Step 4: Pull individual pieces out from the bun and secure them in place so the ends are hanging free.

Summer Soiree Beauties
Ashley Tisdale looks stunning at A Summer Soiree charity fundraiser in Beverly Hills. The white dress looks great with her tan skin and natural brunette hair. The black accessories she rocks with the white dress top off the outfit really well. I love the outfit all around.
Another Disney Channel star that stepped out for the Summer Soiree charity fundraiser, was Selena Gomez, who looked very age appropriate and pretty, with the simple ensemble she put together. She has more of the opposite look that Ashley Tisdale was going for. Selena looks gorgeous with the black dress against her fair skin.
I love the dress that Tiffany Thorton picked out to wear the The Summer Soiree, but I'm not really feeling the open toed booties she picked to wear with the dress. I do however, like her hair and the turquoise earrings she is wearing. The turquoise complements the orange really well.

Not So Sure About This, Brenda
I think Brenda Song looks pretty in just about everything she wears. Even this dress, which I'm not too fond of. Her hair always looks stunning, and I think she can pretty much pull off any look. I do love her shoes, however, because it makes the pink in her dress stand out more.
